‘When it comes to healing, no one healing practitioner, no one healing modality is going to be 100 percent effective 100 percent of the time. I tell a new client that I cannot promise I can help, but I can promise that I have more successes than non-success, otherwise, I would not be able to survive for 15 years in what many consider a “wacky” business.
YET if a new client does not see results, they tend to be upset and start to question my work. I had one client accuse me of being a charlatan and even went on to say how dare I say that I help animals when nothing happened for her animal, etc. I care for these animals also and want them to be better and not have to endure the fear of vet visits or having to be on drugs, and I also do not want a client not be to happy with this work.
This morning I followed up with a new client, Cathy. Even though she is not yet seeing any changes for her cat, we agreed to give it more time and follow up again in a few days. She also said that she does not want ME to give up on her cat. I shared with her how another new client at this point would be accusing me of being a charlatan. Cathy said that she realizes her cat just may be more challenging and that she knows I am not a charlatan. How gracious….and let”s hope when I talk to her on Saturday, that her cat will be showing Cathy some benefits from the healing session.
