‘Several years ago a client called saying her dog, Sandy, went deaf over night. As we were reviewed her dog’s health, she mentioned that Sandy had a history of chronic ear infections resulting in numerous rounds of “drops” for the ears. I told her that I believed the so-called medicine caused the hearing loss.
She replied with what I often hear—“….my vet is holistic…” and she had been assured by this vet that there were no side affects to these “drops”. I bluntly replied that I did not believe that to be the truth. A few hours later she called back saying that she found informational sites discussing that loss of hearing can occur from this “medicine”.\n\nAbout two days ago I had a new client from California; we basically had the same discussion. Her dog had a lot of ear issues, her vet is holistic, etc. etc. etc. and now her dog is going deaf. What was different with this conversation is that this client said it before I did, “I think the drugs caused the deafness”.
Because your vet calls himself holistic yet using pharmaceuticals, plus prescribing it repeatedly, is a concern. What is also important to understand is that these “treatments” (drugs) are not dealing with the root issue. That is what my work is all about—as an animal intuitive I will locate the root of the problem; as an animal healer I will help the animal heal. Our bodies are capable of healing, but it requires knowing AND dealing with what is reallllly going on versus suppressing symptoms.’
