‘Often a new client is aware than their animal companion is not acting like himself; often they will blame it on age, saying something like, “He”s getting old”.

Most of these cases  the animal is not old but middle age.  Like humans, usually in our mid-age is when we start noticing a few issues with our bodies.  It does not mean that we are sick or going to die….it usually just means we need to clean up our act.  We need to find ways to nourish us versus tax our bodies.

Same with animals.  As they move into middle age their bodies are going to require better quality of care.   It may mean a better  brand of food, no or less dry food, no more vaccines or drugs, keep up exercise, etc.  Usually these things along with a “tune up” (energy healing session), the so-called “old” animals is  back!  Often a client now seeing their animal, once again bright eyed and engaged, will comment that they  had forgotten that this is how their animal friend used to be.
